String version 2.6 will introduce improved usability and enhanced security for you and your supply chain...
Features:
Searching and sorting within inventory: A search tool will be introduced within the inventory section of your String site, which will include the ability to filter, sort and group batch records in your inventory. This will enable you to find batches quickly and easily.
Note that in order to use this feature, a user must have a valid, unique and active email address entered in String. If your String email is not an active email address, or if that email address is shared with another person, please contact the String Customer Services team on support@stringtogether.com for help to make the necessary changes.
Password expiry: IT security best practise is to change a password frequently to protect valuable information. The data stored within your String account is valuable to you and to customers that you share it with. Historic Futures are committed to protecting the security of information stored in String, and so user passwords will now have expiry dates. Passwords will be valid for a period of 90 days, after which users will be required to change their password.
We recognise that changing a password is an inconvenience that most users would rather do without, but we are persuaded that this is a small price to pay for improved security and customers’ trust in the data entered in String. Below are a few links to trustworthy sites with practical advise on managing passwords.
