On site training gives you a comprehensive guide to implementing full traceability throughout your business, from Goods In to Goods Out.
For most businesses, training takes place over one day, as follows:
09.00-09.30 - Introductory Presentation
Your trainer will give you an overview presentation, explaining the concepts of traceability in more detail.
09.30-10.00 - Discussion of Business Processes
Your trainer will discuss your business processes with you and your production team, to gain an overview of which processes you conduct. You will be asked to bring documentation from your factory floor to this session, so that your trainer can see how you record which products entered a process and which products were made as a result.
10.00-12.30 - Factory 'walk through'
Your trainer will ask to walk with you through your factory, from Goods In to Goods Out, so that they can gain a clear understanding of exactly how your business processes work, and how they are recorded at every stage. This will enable your trainer to make any necessary recommendations to enable you to implement full traceability within your factory.
12.30-13.30 - Business Process Modelling
Your trainer will now confirm the model they have built of your business processes, and discuss this with you in terms of what is necessary to record in String. After your training, your trainer will produce a PDF diagram of your business processes for you to keep and share with your team.
14.00-15.00 - myString account customisation
Using the business process model your trainer has built to reflect your facility, your trainer will now customise your String account to uniquely reflect your business processes and data requirements. This will ensure that your String account is as simple as possible, enabling you to record the necessary information quickly and easily.
15.00-17.00 - myString training
Your trainer will give your allocated String users a detailed demonstration of String, followed by a 'hands-on' training session, where your String users will learn how to use every aspect of your customised String account.
