To log into String you can log in page directly at:
This will take you to the String log in page:

In the Email field enter the email address you used to register for your String account.
In the Password field enter the password you used to activate your String account.
Select the LOGIN button to login to String.
If you have problems logging into String, you should check a number of things.
If you have logged in successfully before, check that:
You are using the correct String Username and Password

If you have never successfully logged in, check that:
You have activated you String account by entering a new password.
You are using the correct String Username and Password
Your PC meets the required technical specification (see below for information).
Cookies are enabled on Internet Explorer (see below for information)
You have unrestricted access to the String site:
Your PC’s antivirus software is not preventing access to the String sites.
Your PC’s or company’s ‘Firewall’ is not preventing access to the String sites.
To run the freeString, myString and deskString client on a PC the following is required:
Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.x, v8.x, v9.x (in IE8 Compatibility Mode)
Mozilla Firefox v3.6, v4.0, v5.0 (or newer)
Microsoft Windows 98, Windows XP SP1, SP2, SP3, Windows Vista SP, Windows 7 or (or newer)
Microsoft XML 3.0 (or newer - installed by default with IE6 and later versions)
Macromedia/Adobe Flash Plug-in V5 (or newer)
String uses cookies to record session information and to do this, cookies need to be enabled on Internet Explorer.
1. To check that cookies are enabled in Internet Explorer, open the “Tools” – “Internet Options” menu and select the “Privacy” tab:
2. Select the Advanced button and ensure that the “Override automatic cookie handling” box is not ticked and that the ‘greyed-out’ “Always allow session cookies” box is ticked.

3. Select the OK button to save any changes that you have made or the Cancel button if the settings were correct.
4. On the Internet Options menu select the OK button to save any changes that you have made.
